Regrettably, I don’t have any superpowers. In fact, the closest thing I have is the ability to produce an anime screenshot to suit any occasion. My phone (which, despite it being 2020, I still use to watch the vast majority of my shows) is packed full of screenshots, which I bestow upon my friends like a little old lady handing out sweets to her cute grandchildren. As with last year, I thought I’d take the time to also share some with you, my dear readers – completely out of context, of course! I hope that the following screenshots both amuse and confuse you! Sauce provided upon request!

I am positively ecstatic to have been nominated for The Sunshine Blogger Award! Thank-you, Neha, for the nomination! It’s always been my mission here at Watashi Wa Bucho!! to spread joy and positivity – there’s already far too much hatred and negativity out there without me throwing my hat into the ring – so it’s super encouraging to be recognised for that!
On the off chance that you haven’t visited Neha’s awesome blog, BiblioNyan, yet, you can do so here. With her passion for self-care, diversity, and highlighting other amazing blogs and bloggers, you’re bound to find something as uplifting as it is entertaining!
The rules for The Sunshine Blogger Award are as follows:
- Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link to their blog so that other people can visit them
- Answer the 11 questions put to you by the nominator
- Nominate 11 bloggers of your choosing and provide them with a new set of 11 questions to answer
- Notify the nominees by commenting on one of their blog posts
- List the rules and display The Sunshine Blogger Award logo within your post or on your blog site
Without any further ado, here are my responses to Neha’s questions:
As an aniblogger, and somebody who wastes countless hours scrolling through Anitwitter, you never know when a screenshot might come in handy, to remind you of key events that took place in an anime, to illustrate a point that you’re making, or (most importantly) as a witty comeback! As such, my PC and phone are full to bursting with screenshots that I’ve taken of the various shows that I’ve seen. Regrettably, I’ve not had the chance to use even a fraction of these, either in my blog posts or in the interactions that I’ve had with other people. So I thought it might be fun to share with you now the best of 2018’s screenshots – all completely out of context, of course! Major props to anybody who’s able to name the source of all the following screenshots!
