Nazo no Kanojo X episode 8

I’ll admit, I didn’t approach Nazo no Kanojo with the most positive of mind-sets this week after having been made to sit through and write about a highly contentious episode, (something I don’t much enjoy doing, believe it or not- I much prefer being positive) only to have what I’d written be openly mocked on a forum. Apparently I’d gotten it all wrong, apparently claiming ownership of a woman and all her assorted body parts is A-OK! Pfft. Whatever, the guy likes Bodacious Space Pirates so clearly he doesn’t know what he’s talking about! Anyway, as I was saying, I didn’t approach this episode with the most positive of mind-sets but, it was difficult being crotchety and curmudgeonly when I was given exactly what it was I’ve been wishing for, progression.

Nazo no Kanojo X episode 6

So now that the show’s done enough establishing of the characters, strengthening the bond between our two love-birds and indicating an obvious attraction between them, I wanted to see a substantial amount of progression in their relationship with this episode, something like their first kiss, or whatever. It just feels that, providing the show is going to culminate in the pair losing their virginity to one another, (as suggested by episode one) it ought to start heading in that direction now that it’s half over. But, of course, Nazo no Kanojo X- always eager to buck the trend- was not quick to cater to this viewer’s expectations of it!
